i would've freaked out but a) freaking out in the shower is dangerous, and b) i was too sleepy to freak out. it was probably the rental agent's lucky day ;)
Definitely a compliment. :D (The main character, essentially, becomes invisible to the people around him, or at least the people around him who aren't homeless. There's a whole scene where he's in the bath and people are coming around to view his flat and making comments about his furniture and so on. S'good, if freaky, stuff!)
